Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex daily accounting and operational activities

  • Analyze and review data to determine appropriate balances and activities

  • Identify risks and propose mitigation controls

  • Perform and review month-end close activities, including journal entries

  • Prepare and present monthly account reconciliations, close analytics, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports

  • Review legal agreements as applicable

  • Manage internal and external audits

  • Maintain expertise and ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX controls

  • Provide guidance and training to internal customers and peers

  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives

  • Support internal and external stakeholders

  • Present information to Finance Management

  • Proactively highlight financial data challenges and address risks

  • Perform other tasks as assigned

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Experience with Blackline, Model N, Ariba, and Concur

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to think broadly and connect complex matters

  • Ability to manage change collaboratively

Education & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • More than 6 years of accounting or audit experience preferred

  • Shared service or audit experience preferred
